Our Mission
Changing the way America cares for children and families.
Our Vision
An America where every child and family receives the effective, compassionate care they need to be healthy in body, mind and spirit.
How We Accomplish Our Mission
Through the inspiration of Father Flanagan, Boys Town National Research Hospital endeavors to provide healing and hope to children and families suffering from physical and mental illnesses and disabilities, especially those who struggle with hearing loss and related disorders. To accomplish this mission, Boys Town National Research Hospital will assemble national leaders in research and clinical treatment to focus their efforts on discovering and providing state-of-the-art diagnosis, evaluation, treatment, and prevention of hearing loss and related disorders, and educating other professionals in order to enhance patient care throughout the nation. Using the latest communication and information technologies, the Hospital will disseminate its research and treatment expertise nationally.
To support the mission, Boys Town National Research Hospital will develop a pediatric health care network to provide a comprehensive array of pediatric services to treat physical and mental illnesses through affiliations and cooperative ventures, as well as through those services owned and operated by the Hospital. By establishing itself regionally as the leader in services for children and adolescents, the Hospital will secure the necessary clinical and financial resources to support its national prominence in the research and treatment of hearing loss and related disorders.
