Boys Town Pediatric Gastroenterology
offers PillCam™ endoscopy - a simple and
comfortable diagnostic test. PillCam™ can
diagnose patients with iron deficiency anemia,
suspected Crohn’s disease, unexplained
obscure gastrointestinal bleeding, small bowel
tumors and celiac disease. The video capsule
used is a disposable, miniature video camera
contained in a capsule and is easily swallowed
by the majority of patients.
